AFR-PE-4

Air Force Developed Ultra-High Temperature Polyimide

AFR-PE-4 is Maverick's newest ultra-high temperature polyimide product. It is capable of withstanding long term exposure to temperatures up to 700°F (371°C) and is currently being qualified. AFR-PE-4 is available as a resin solution or prepreg.

• Glass Transition Temperature:
  740-760ºF (393 - 404ºC)
  
  
• Thermal Oxidative Stability:
  0.5 - 1.5% weight loss at 700°F (371°C), 100 hours in air
  
  
• Resin Solids Content:
  Can be formulated up to 75% wt. solids
  
  
• Solution Density:
  1.1 - 1.3 gm/cc
  
  
• Solution Viscosity @ 55% solids:
  800 - 1200 cps at RT, Spindle #3, 10 RPM
