MVk-10
Affordable, Low-Toxicity Polyimides This family of polyimides offers the rare combination of excellent high-temperature performance, processing versatility, and affordability. Originally developed to replace PMR-15 and its highly toxic diamine 4,4' methylenedianiline (MDA), these resins are void of mutagenic and carcinogenic components.
These systems can be processed by compression molding, autoclave, solvent assisted resin transfer molding (saRTM), and conventional resin transfer molding (RTM). Fabricated composites exhibit high glass transition temperatures (Tg's) and excellent thermal oxidative stability (TOS).
